Lost Way of Life

{32″ x 36″ Mixed media: acrylic, wood, metal, canvas, wire, glass, & twine}
Although similar in message as “Falling to Pieces Without You”, this work is closer to the idea of farm life in general losing its place in our society. Machines have taken over most of the arduous tasks that belonged to the farmers. It’s strange to think that often times our society doesn’t even consider where the food in the grocery stores come from. The farmers that are left are certainly not appreciated for their contribution to our country as they once were.
This work is a tribute to them.
